While the Police are awaiting the result of the autopsy conducted on late singer Mohbad, an inquest (official investigation to find out the cause of death) will begin this Friday (Sept. 29).
The inquest, convoked by the chief coroner in Lagos State, Justice M.A. Dada, will take place at a magistrate court in Ikorodu, Lagos, The West African Pilot News learned.
The setting up of the inquest was in response to a series of demands by some concerned individuals, including human rights lawyer Femi Falana, SAN.
In a letter dated September 18, Falana requested the coroner to conduct a thorough investigation on Mohbad’s tragic demise.
“Given the needless death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, we are compelled to request a coroner’s inquest to be conducted into the cause of death of this young promising musician,” a part of the letter read.
