President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointments of new chief executive officers of several agencies and parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.

Ajuri Ngelale, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, issued a statement on the appointments on Friday.

Ngelale said the appointments were in line with the president’s “resolve to base Nigeria’s economic revival on the foundation of trade expansion through small, medium and large scale industry facilitation in the country”.

The appointees and their respective agencies are as follows:

    1. Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC.
    2. Afiz Ogun Oluwatoyin, Industrial Training Fund, ITF.
    3. Kamar Bakrin, National Sugar Development Council, NSDC

4 . Olufemi Ogunyemi, Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority, NEPZA.

5 . Nonye Ayeni, Nigeria Export Promotion Council, NEPC.

6 . Aisha Rimi, Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission, NIPC.

    1. Bamanga Usman Jada, Oil & Gas Free Zone Authority, OGFZA.
    2. Charles Odii, Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, SMEDAN.

9 . Ifeanyi Chukwunonso Okeke, Standards Organisation of Nigeria, SON.

    1. Rabiu Olowo, Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, FRCN.
    2. Anthony Atuche, CFA, Nigeria Commodities Exchange, NCE.
    3. Veronica Safiya Ndanusa, Lagos International Trade Fair Complex, LITFCMB.
    4. Lucia Shittu, Tafawa Balewa Square Management Board, TBSMB.

14 . Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin, National Automotive Design and Development Council, NADDC.

The appointments take immediate effect.
