Ethiopian Airlines has restricted Nigerians from bringing ‘Ghana-Must-Go’ bags aboard any of its flights.
The ban, according to a letter signed by Henok Gizachew, the Airline’s Manager of Airport Services, and addressed to the Regional Manager of the Federal Airports Authority Of Nigeria, FAAN, took effect from 25 November.

Ethiopian Airlines Nigeria said the regulation is due to the “frequent occurrences of damages to conveyor belts at various airports, resulting in significant costs by the airlines involved.
The Airline, however, added that the bags would only be allowed when they are “adequately packed in a carton or hardcover rectangular container.”
