NewsNigeriaIllegal Oil Refining Warehouse Uncovers In Abuja

Mukhtar Galadima, Director of Development Control of the Federal Capital Territory Administration said officials from the FCTA and security personnel have discovered an illegal oil refining warehouse in Mabushi, a suburb in Abuja.

Galadima said the site was discovered during the city’s cleaning operation exercise on Thursday, adding that four commercial plots of land have been converted into an area where oil and diesel are adulterated and distributed throughout the city.

According to Galadima, the city sanitation task force will investigate the relevant legal provisions and advise the FCT administration on what to do next regarding the allocated land.

At the time of filling the report no arrest was made, and the items used in carrying out the refining have been impounded.
