Air Peace, on Wednesday, announced plans to begin direct flight operations from Lagos to Abidjan, Ivory Coast, and Cotonou, Benin Republic, on Monday, 22 January.
This is contained in a statement signed by the spokesperson of the airline, Mr Stanley Olisa, on Wednesday.
The new routes are part of the airline’s strategic plans to expand its regional destinations across the continent.
“The new routes were further confirmation of the airline’s unyielding drive to connect the whole of Africa and facilitate economic prosperity on the continent,” Olisa said.
Olisa added that the company is gearing up to introduce Abidjan–Dakar, Cotonou–Dakar, and Abidjan–Cotonou routes.
He said the Lagos–Abidjan and Lagos–Cotonou bring the number of the airline’s regional destinations to ten less than a decade it commenced scheduled flight operations.
