All Enugu State Local Government staff are directed to proceed to their respective Local Government Area (LGA) Payroll Officers to obtain their Verification Number(s) for their mandatory online and physical verification exercise.
In a public announcement signed by Prof. Chidiebere Onyia, Secretary to the Enugu State Government & Chairman Enugu State LG Staff Verification Committee, all LG employees with their verification numbers can access the portal to fill out the Online Verification Form after which they generate a Print-out; visit the website http://enugustate.live to complete the Online Verification Form.
“The print-out serves as validation for every staff to continue to the next stage of participating in the Physical Verification Exercise.”
Prof. Onyia revealed that the exercise is aimed at sanitizing the State Local Government System, which in turn will benefit legitimate Local Government Staff and expose ghost workers.
“The portal will open on Thursday, 11th January and close on Thursday, 18th January 2024,” SSG stated.
He further advised the LG Staff to use their Salary Account number for the verification.
