In commemoration of the 2024 International Day of Education, National Association of Seadogs, Dolphin Deck has donated writing and instructional materials to some primary schools in Ndokwa West Local Government Area (LGA) of Delta State.
The beneficiaries were Ezeti Primary School, Ukabi and Akakpani Primary School, Akakpani Umuseti both of Ndokwa West Local Government Area
The donation was in commemoration of the 2024 International Day of Education with the theme “Learning for lasting Peace”.
Items donated included: dozens of note books, biros, pencils and instructional materials.
Mr. Boniface Nzeshi Ossai, president of the association, while addressing the pupils, said that the aim was to aid their learning in the schools.
He used the opportunity to intimate the Heads of the two schools who received the materials on behalf of the pupils on the aims and objectives of the association as well as the importance of the educational materials.
According to Mr. Ossai, “to mark this year’s international Day of Education with the theme, “Learning for lasting Peace”.The National Association of Seadogs, Dolphin Deck participated massively by donating Educational materials to Ezeti Primary School, Ukabi and Akakpani Primary School, Akakpani Umuseti both of Ndokwa Eest LGA Area of Delta State.
“The association donated dozens of note books, biros, pencil and all instructional materials to aid the pupils in their education.”
Responding, Mr Chijine Sunday Robinson, Head of Ezeti Primary School and his colleague in Akakpani Primary School, Mrs Chegwe Patience expressed their appreciation to the association for the kind gesture.
The duo said that many of the pupils don’t come to school because of lack of funds to buy their learning books.
