The Federal Government has promised to reward the Super Eagles for their sterling performance against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana at the African Cup of Nation Semi-finals.

Vice President Kashim Shettima who was in Côte d’Ivoire for the semi-final match made this known while addressing the players after the match posted on the Super Eagles X-account on Thursday.

Shettima lauded their relentless efforts in reaching the final of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations,

“The government and the people of Nigeria are proud of their accomplishment” he stated.

The Africa Cup of Nations final in 2023 is set to take place on Sunday 11th February and Nigeria will be meeting with Cote de Voire.
