Tragedy struck at Bridge Head Onitsha few minutes ago when trailer crushes road users including children.
The incident happened around 5pm.
According to an eyewitness, the trailer which was heading towards Asaba lost control of its brake and hit a mother and her children alongside passengers waiting to board vehicles heading to Asaba.
The woman who was lucky to have escaped the death was in tears as she watched the remains of her children.
While many sustained injuries, the number of casualties is unknown, but the Nigerian Police are on ground to restore order to the area.
