It is with profound sorrow that the family of Chief Engr. Gilbert Obiajulu Uzodike announces his passing on Friday, June 7, 2024.
Chief Uzodike, revered by many as Oziuzo-Nnewi, died in the early hours of Friday in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 75 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Chief Uzodike was a renowned industrialist and business incubator, was the founder of Cutix Cables Plc, Adtec Limited, and Adswitch Plc. He was a trailblazer in Nigeria’s industrial landscape, contributing significantly to the country’s economic growth and industrial capabilities.
Born in 1949 in Onitsha, Anambra State, Chief Uzodike’s life was a testament to innovation, leadership, and service. His entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to excellence earned him widespread respect and admiration, inspiring countless entrepreneurs and industrialists in Nigeria and beyond.
Chief Uzodike’s legacy of innovation and leadership will be carried forward by his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished by family, friends, and colleagues.
