The All Progressives Congress (APC) has felicitated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his re-election as chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Authority of Heads of State and Government.

President Tinubu who was first elected last July in Bissau, Guinea Bissau, to steer the affairs the regional bloc for a one-year term, was re-elected by a unanimous decision of fellow Heads of Government at the 65th Ordinary Session of the Authority held in Abuja on Sunday, July 7, 2024.

“Ostensibly, his re-election is declarative of the Authority’s confidence in President Tinubu’s inspiring leadership. We are proud that his leadership acumen continues to resonate beyond our borders, “Morka said.

Felix Morka, Esq., National Publicity Secretary of APC in a press statement on Wednesday noted that given President Tinubu’s reflexive understanding of the critical essence of the regional body and the roadmap to achieving it, they are confident that he will consolidate on his accomplishments thus far and steer the Authority to greater heights.

“We pray for more wisdom and grace upon President Tinubu in his discharge of this important assignment, and as he continues to bring honour to our great Party and dear nation,” Morka stated.
