The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, has commenced the distribution of relief materials to victims of flood disasters in Maiduguri and its surrounding communities.
NAF has launched a medical outreach initiative to support flood victims, in addition to the feeding of over 2,000 Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs.
Deputy Director of Public Relations and Information, Group Captain Kabiru Ali in a statement said the airlift mission and medical outreach are part of a broader effort to support national disaster response initiatives and highlight the critical role of military assets in humanitarian crises.
