The All Progressives Congress (APC) has mourned the demise of Akwa Ibom State governor’s wife, Patience Umo Eno.
The party in a press statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, stated, “It’s with great shock and sadness that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has received the news of the passing of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom state, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, on the passing of his beloved wife.
“The late Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, will be fondly remembered as a wonderful and God-fearing human being, a social entrepreneur and avid humanitarian who championed a great many causes to uplift and better the lives of her people. Her noble strides will, no doubt, remain evergreen in the hearts of all she touched and blessed with her life.
“Our solemn thoughts and prayers are with the first family, the government, and good people of Akwa Ibom State at this difficult time.
“May the soul of the late Mrs. Patience Umo Eno, find eternal rest. Amen.”Morka stated.
