Ten persons have been reported killed while seven others were rescued at Jegede Ololoyo axis of Ona Ara local government area of Ibadan after a building collapsed at 2am on Thursday.
While confirming the incident, the General Manager, Oyo State Fire Services, Rev. Akinyemi Akinyinka said they received distress calls from the people in the neighborhood at 2am.
According to him, “May I inform you that Oyo State Fire Services Agency received distressed calls at around 2 am this morning at Jegede Ololoyo area, Ibadan of which 10 persons were recovered from debris of collapsed building, while seven persons were rescued.
