Ondo Poll: CUPP disagrees With Process, Says Election Not Credible

The frontline aspirant of the APC for the 2025 Anambra State governorship election, Sir Paul Chukwuma, on Saturday, held a strategic session with members of the State Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress – APC, in Anambra State. The meeting which was held at the new state office of the party which Sir Paul Chukwuma secured, was extensively attended by the State Working Committee members of the APC in Anambra.

Addressing the gathering, the Director General of Sir Paul Chukwuma Primary Election Campaign Council, Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezi, thanked the State Party Chairman for his “steadfastness and commitment to the APC in Anambra State.” Speaking about Sir Paul Chukwuma, Hon. Ibezi said that Mr. Chukwuma is capable and has everything that may be required of someone who aspires to be governor of Anambra State. Describing Sir Paul as a true party man, Ibezi said that Chukwuma’s commitment to the party is unrivaled and novel. “Your loyalty, dedication, and commitment to the party in Anambra State are highly commendable. We thank you! You have been able to give this party the best facelift ever. Nobody comes close to upholding the Anambra APC as you have done. This office you gave to the party is the best the party has seen in Anambra State. You also extended the party offices to the grassroots by approving the payment of party offices in Anambra Central and Anambra North senatorial districts,” Hon. Ibezi said.

Examining the import of Sir Paul’s efforts to build the APC at the grassroots, Hon. Ibezi averred that “Anyone who wants to be governor but is not interested in energizing the grassroots is not interested to be governor”.

In his response, Sir Paul Chukwuma thanked Chief Basil Ejidike, the APC State Chairman, and his State Working Committee for demonstrating credibility in the party’s leadership. “Every organization drives at the pace of its leader,” Chukwuma said. Speaking on the purpose of his visit, he said he came to interface with the members of the party’s State Working Committee. His second reason for visiting, he revealed, was to encourage the party leadership to actively take part in the funeral of the late Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah, in the coming week. The third purpose of his visit according to Chukwuma, is that after the funeral of Sen. Ubah, the party will take a position to retain the replacement seat for Anambra South by supporting someone whom Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah will be happy with.
