A member of Anambra State House of Assembly, Mr Justice Azuka has been kidnapped by gunmen.
He was reportedly abducted at Ugwunabankpa road, inland road, Onitsha Anambra State, on tuesday night while returning home.
A statement by SP Ikenga Tochukwu, the spokesperson of the police in the state said the Command has “activated Operational plans for the possible rescue and arrest of the kidnappers of the lawmaker.”
Ikenga confirmed that Hon. Azuka, the member representing Onitsha North Constituency was whisked away at about 9:20Pm by yet to be identified gunmen.
The Police image maker added that “The Command is already working on some clues for possible rescue and arrest of the kidnapper.”
