All is now set for the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress – APC, His Excellency, Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, to commission the new APC State Secretariat in Awka, Anambra State capital. The event slated for noon on Saturday, February 8, is expected to attract all critical APC stakeholders as well as well as members of the party in Anambra State in their numbers.
A few months ago, Sir Paul Chukwuma secured the new Anambra State APC secretariat for the party. The office located approximately opposite the Anambra State Government House, Awka, is the new administrative headquarters of the party in Anambra State. Mr. Chukwuma also secured party offices for the 21 LGA chapters of the APC in Anambra state and ward offices across the 326 wards in the state.
This visit by the party’s National Chairman to commission the new office comes exactly nine months before the Anambra State Governorship Election, which will be held on November 8, 2025. As of now, the Anambra State chapter of the APC has emerged as a major contender against the incumbent, parading a handful of serious aspirants. There are, therefore, signs that Ganduje’s visit will also feature high-powered politics.
