The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Kemi Nandap, says the Dutch government has pledged continued support for technology-driven solutions.
He disclosed this in Abuja during a visit by a Dutch delegation led by the Chargé D’Affaires of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Nigeria, Mr. Jurgen Bartelink, who said it aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s border control systems and enhancing migration management.
According to a statement by NIS spokesperson Akinsola Akinlabi, the high-level strategic meeting focused on deepening migration cooperation between the two countries.
“The visit is a follow-up to the CGIS’s earlier trip to the Netherlands, highlighted enhanced bilateral collaboration on migration governance, capacity-building, and the formal handover of key operational tools—including the Edison software license keys and the Passport Examination Programme Manual.
