Niger State Governor, Umaru Bago, has dissolved the State Executive Council, which affects all commissioners.
The governor announced the dissolution during the monthly cabinet council meeting held in Minna.
This is the first major shake-up in the governance structure of Niger State.
Governor Bago said the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, and other principal officers have been reappointed to continue in their roles.
