The District Head of Beti, Alhaji Ibrahim Halilu Mustapha.

The District Head of Beti in Fufore Local Government Area of Adamawa State, Alhaji Ibrahim Halilu Mustapha, has vowed to deal with any persons or groups bent on obstructing peaceful coexistence or distracting from development in the area.

He advised while turbaning the Adamawa State Chairman of Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union, RATTAWU, Comrade Sa’ad Shehu Bolaware as Galadiman Beti at Wuro Ardo primary school.

The District Head, therefore, charges his subjects to obey constituted authorities at all levels, authority leaders, and give them useful advice and prayers for them not to derail in governance.

The traditional ruler also advised them to love one another and speak with one voice for them to actualize all positive dreams that will develop the area.

Mustapha charged the new Galadiman Beti to fear Allah in the discharge of his duties and be fair to all, as well as cooperate and work in unison with other traditional title holders for socio-economic and rapid transformation of the area.

The District Head pointed out that the title was bestowed on him based on merit, considering his contributions to the area, and with the approval of HRH, the Emir of Funnage, Alhaji Sani Ribadu.

Mustapha then called on those who have attained voting age in Beti District to participate in the ongoing voter continuous registration exercise to enable them to partake in the 2027 general elections.

The District Head also reminded those wishing to update their voters’ cards to avail themselves of the opportunity and do so, stressing that the voters’ cards will enable them to exercise their franchise during the election.

He thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the Emir of Funnage, Alhaji Sani Ribadu, Chairperson of Fufore local government council, Madam Peace Audu, and other stakeholders for their valuable contributions to making the area a peaceful environment.

Responding, the new Galadiman Beti, Comrade Shehu Sa’ad Bolaware, as Galadiman Beti, thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the creation of new Emirates, Chiefdoms, and Districts, which have given people a sense of belonging and accelerated development across the state.

He pledged continuous support and loyalty to the District head Beti and other constituted authorities across the state.

Earlier, the Village Head Beti Bappawa, Hamidu Marafa, represented by Yahaya Jauro,   appreciated the contributions of the new Galadiman Beti to the area and wished him success in the throne.

In their separate goodwill messages, Comrade Garba Tsani, former National President RATTAWU, Comrade Babangida Umar Zurmi, National Deputy President RATTAWU, and Comrade Usman Babbada, Vice President NLC, Adamawa State Chapter, described the title bestowed on the state Chairman RATTAWU as an honour done to the union.

While thanking the District Head for finding the recipient worthy of the title, they pledged their support and cooperation to the traditional institution and government at all levels for development to thrive.
