The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Enugu State Chapter, has announced its party’s newly elected Local Government Area Chairmen following the peaceful conclusion of congresses across the 17 LGAs in the state.
In a statement signed by the party’s State Chairman and Secretary, Dr. Johnpaul Anih and Dr. Sebastine Chukwuebuka Okafor respectively, described the exercise as orderly and well-coordinated.
Congratulating the newly elected party executives, the Chairman urge her members, leaders, stakeholders and aspirants to stay united and focused on strengthening the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“This is to inform the general public that the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Enugu State Chapter, has concluded its congresses across the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.”
“The congresses were conducted peacefully and successfully, leading to the emergence of new party executives at the local government level.”
“The party congratulates all those who emerged during the congresses and calls on members, leaders, stakeholders, and aspirants to work together in unity for the growth and progress of the party.
“The leadership also assures members that the timetable for the 2027 general elections will be released soon.
