The Labor Party has fixed May 30th for Governorship, National, and State House of Assembly primaries to elect candidates who will fly the party’s flag in the 2027 general elections, against earlier dates of May 27 and 29.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Ken Asogwa, in a statement in Abuja, said the party rescheduled the dates in consideration of the spiritual significance of the Eid-el Kabir sallah celebration.
He said the shifting of the election dates would enable members, aspirants, supporters and Nigerians in general to fully partake in the important occasion.
