The Kabir Turaki led Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has told Nigerians to be hopeful, resilient, committed to peace and national cohesion despite the economic and security challenges they are facing.
The party said this on Wednesday in its Eid-el-Kabir message to the people, urging leaders at all levels to embrace the spirit of justice, accountability, and people-centered governance.
The message reads, “We extend our warmest felicitations to all Muslims across Nigeria as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir. This sacred celebration reminds us of the timeless virtues of sacrifice, compassion, obedience to God, unity, and service to humanity.
“At a time when our nation faces economic and security challenges, we urge Nigerians to remain hopeful, resilient, and committed to peace, national cohesion, and mutual understanding- values essential to nation-building.
“We call on leaders at all levels to embrace the spirit of justice, accountability, and people-centered governance, while working sincerely to ease the hardships faced by citizens.”
