The Tol Huba and President of the Hong Local Government Traditional Council in Adamawa State, HRM Tol Alheri Bulus Nyako, has approved an indefinite suspension of the Acting District Head of Mayolope/Gashala District, Alh. Ibrahim J. Ahmadu, with effect from Monday, 27th July 2026.
According to a circular by one of HRM’s aide, Engr. Philemon Dalatu Stanley stated that the suspension follows a series of queries issued to the Acting District Head and recommendations from a Fact-Finding Committee set up by the Tol Huba to investigate allegations of gross misconduct.
“The action was carried out with the approval of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, who directed all Traditional Rulers to uphold peace, unity, socio-economic development, and zero tolerance for corruption in their domains.
“This development underscores the Tol Huba’s commitment to accountability and good governance within the traditional institution,” the circular reads.
Recalled that earlier, the Monarch had suspended two Village Heads for 6 months over abuse of office.
