Given the recent surge in reported cases of ritual killings in the country, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has vowed to intensify the fight against internet fraudsters and those going spiritual in the act of fraud.
In a Facebook post, the anti-graft agency said it isn’t ignorant that ‘Yahoo boys’ now go spiritual, offering sacrifices and performing rituals in order to succeed in their criminality.

EFCC went further to issue a stern warning to internet fraudsters, popularly known as ‘Yahoo boys’, who have deployed spiritual means for their nefarious activities, that going diabolical by using charms will not stop its operatives from arresting them.
The anti-graft agency made the statement on Wednesday via its official Facebook account, writing, “No going back on the onslaught against yahoo-yahoo or yahoo-plus, whatever nomenclature. Give up, or give in. The Eagles will get you anytime, anywhere!”
