Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku on Sunday dissolved local government councils in the state.
According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Iliya Bekyu, the dissolution followed the expiration of the tenure of the councils on 3rd July 2022.
The statement directs local government council’s chairmen to hand over the affairs of their respective councils to the Head of Local government administration pending the return of the Executive Governor to the state.
