ABUJA — One of the escapees following the recent attack on Kuje Maximum Custodial Centre in Abuja has been recaptured by the Police in Nasarawa.
The State Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Ramhan Nansel in a statement says the recaptured escapee, Hassan Hassan whose name and picture is among the inmates in Boko Haram and Terrorism case was apprehended in Keffi Local Government Area of the state.
The statement read in part: “It calls on residents of the state to intensify vigilance and report any strange faces with suspicious movements around their areas to the security agencies for swift action.
“The State Commissioner of Police, Soyemi Adesina had ordered for the transfer of the recaptured escapee to a safer location while intensive search for the remaining escaped inmates and handing over process continued”.
