LAGOS — Last night, unconfirmed reports surfaced, claiming that Ifeanyi, the son of David Adeleke, also known as Davido, is dead.
According to the reports, the young boy, who enjoyed a lavish third birthday celebration last week, drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
After being pulled out of the swimming pool, he was quickly taken to the hospital but efforts to revive him were futile. He was reportedly confirmed dead by one of the doctors on duty.
Since the news of Ifeanyi’s rumoured death went viral, Nigerians, including celebrities and close of friends of the singer have expressed their condolences to the couple, while others hang on to the hope that the news is false.
However, neither Davido nor his partner, Chioma, has reacted to the weighty speculations as of the time this report was filed.
Ifeanyi was born in 2019 to Davido and Chioma. The two have been in an on-and-off relationship, with recent developments indicating that they may tie the knot soon.
