The Senior Pastor of the Bible Base Miracle Assembly, Nkpor in Anambra State, Rev Jerry Nwachukwu, has predicted victory for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, in the February polls.
The cleric gave assurance of Obi’s victory in his new year prophetic declaration in the early hours of Sunday.
Rev. Nwachukwu said the presidential race is between Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) but that Tinubu will not make it.
He described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, as “an outsider in the race.”
He said that plans to rig the election will be futile because Nigerian youths will resist such.
“Peter Obi will be victorious in the 2023 presidential election. Let us pray there will be no room for a run-up,” the cleric said.
“There will be stiff resistance by the powers that be to subvert the people’s choice, but Nigerian youths will stop them.”
Rev. Nwachukwu’s prophecy counters an earlier one by Primate Elijah Ayodele, the general overseer of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church.
A few days ago, Primate Ayodele said the ruling party will win the forthcoming presidential election but Tinubu will only be in office for one term of four years.
According to him, “APC is ready to use every arsenal to win this election at all cost.”
He also advised Obi not to be carried away by the huge support he is gathering on social media and to start confronting the 2023 election properly.
