The youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra state, Mr. Jideofor Ejimofor, Wednesday, warned eligible voters in South-east region that failure to vote for the presidential candidate of the party, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, would be counter-productive.
Ejimofor, who disclosed this while Mr Seyi Tinubu, son to APC’s presidential candidate was having a chat with the members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Anambra State Council in Awka, noted that a repeat of the 2015 and 2019 experience where they voted for another party rather than APC’s then candidate, Muhammadu Buhari was why they lost out in the central government.
According to Ejimofor, Tinubu is the best candidate among the 18 gunning for the number one seat in the country, having empowered several people, transformed Lagos state, among others.
“Bola Ahmed Tinubu has the experience, tolerance and capacity to change the fortunes of Nigeria for the best. Everyone has acknowledged that his core strength is his vision for peace, progress and economic development. He also has a penchant for discovering, nurturing and empowering talent. Testimonies abound across Nigeria,” he added.
