The deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos state, Olufunke Akindele, has deleted all posts relating to politics and her campaign from her Instagram page.
As of Monday morning, the only visible posts on her page were her movie promotion and other personal posts.
This is coming a few hours after the incumbent governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was announced as the winner of the March 18 governorship election in the state.
Sanwo-Olu polled a total of 762,134 votes, defeating Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party (LP) who got 312,329 votes.
Akindele and her principal, Abdul-Azeez Adediran who contested under the platform of the PDP were in third place with 62,449 votes.
