Following breakdown of law and order in Sabon Garin Nassarawa-Tirkaniya of Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State which led to the killing of two citizens, the Kaduna State Government has imposed a 24-hour curfew on the community.
According to the State Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan in a statement on Monday, security agencies had been directed to enforce the curfew in the area.
Aruwan said the curfew takes immediate effect and urged people to strictly observe the curfew, adding that updates on the development would be communicated accordingly as investigations had proceeded to restore peace and order in the affected community.
