Former Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has emerged as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Ganduje was elected the national chairman of the ruling party at the 12th meeting of the National Executive Committee, NEC, of the party on Thursday.
Senator Ajibola Basiru was also elected as the party’s national secretary.
The meeting took place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
The former national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu and ex-national secretary, Iyiola Omisore resigned last month.
