Adamawa State Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting journalists operating in the state to ensure effective service delivery.
Farauta disclosed this on Tuesday when she granted audience to members of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ, Adamawa state chapter, in her Office.
She said the Fintiri-led administration is media friendly, reassuring government continuous support, and commended NAWOJ for identifying with the present administration and their contributions as members of the pen profession.
Professor Farauta tasked Journalists to discharge their duties professionally.
Earlier, NAWOJ state Coordinator Rose Anthony Elishama acknowledged the developmental strides of the present administration, which she said will remain indelible in the annals of the state.
Elishama, while pledging their support and loyalty, encouraged the deputy governor and her principal governor, Fintiri, to continue the good work.
She then appealed for support for more productive, efficient, and effective service delivery, noting that the women journalists remain poised in promoting and showcasing the developmental policies and programs of Governor Fintiri.
