The Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited has donated four vehicles to the Enugu State Security Trust Fund as her support in the fight against insecurity in the state.
Commending the giant strides of the Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah’s administration in the state, the Chief Executive Officer of IVM Company, Chief Innocent Chukwuma on Wednesday at the Government House Enugu said manufacturing companies are relieved with improved socio-economic infrastructures and state of security in the state hence his need to identify with the government of the state.
“Manufacturers in Enugu are now happy; areas we could not enter during rainy season, today we can enter and work anywhere. We have seen the difference and this is why I came to support the Security Trust Fund for more security and happiness of the people,” Chief Chukwuma said.
The Innoson boss further revealed the State Governor’s promise for industries; “He has also promised a lot of things like making gas available for manufacturers because of the state of electricity in the state.”
In his response, the Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah expressed gratitude to Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Nigeria for partnering with the state in the area of security even as he promised to make the state the premier destination for investment and economic opportunities, where businesses flourish and our people prosper.
“We feel very excited as a government and this is what we have always talked about – partnership that works. This could only happen because Innoson is a core stakeholder in Enugu State and he sees the value of investing and doing business in Enugu,” Dr. Mbah reiterates.
“We appreciate him greatly for donating to the State Security Trust Fund; providing two pick-up vehicles and two crossover vehicles. These essentially enhance our capacity to fight crime and to ensure that the investing community and the investors are safe and secure in Enugu State.”
“We are immensely thankful for your support and we commit to putting these vehicles to good use. We will continue to provide a safe and secure environment for the people of Enugu State,” the Enugu State Governor promised.
Recall the recent fundraising dinner in the state wherein over three billion naira was raised for the Enugu State Security Trust Fund.
