The Adamawa State Government has scheduled Thursday, August 28, 2025, for the final screening interview of 8,196 shortlisted candidates.
All candidates are expected to gather in Yola for the interviews from the 21 local government areas across the state.
The shortlisted candidates who pass the interviews will fill 4,000 vacancies in the state civil service.
The 8,196 were shortlisted from 52,003 who sat a computer-based test earlier in the month, after over 40,000 were dropped from the more than 93,000 who initially applied when the state government called for applications in April.
The highest number of those selected for the interview is 589 from Hong LGA, followed by 583 from Michika and 579 from Yola North. The lowest number, 187, comes from Toungo.
