The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday released the names of 47 aspirants disqualified from participating in its senatorial primary elections ahead of the 2027 general polls.

The party, however, did not state the reasons for the disqualification.

In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC said the decision followed its screening exercise conducted by designated committees in line with established guidelines and procedures.

According to the party, the screening process was carried out strictly in accordance with its internal rules, though no specific grounds were given for the exclusion of the affected aspirants.
