Tell us: Do you know someone who has died of COVID-19?
The Igbo have a saying, “When you mourn the dead, you mourn yourself.” It’s a fitting metaphor for empathy and acknowledgment of uncertainty, faith, and our common humanity.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread across the globe, we continue to learn how to mourn the loss of loved ones, normalcy, and security. Along with this new normal comes the fear of losing or already having lost the ones we love. Pilot News is offering you a place to remember those who have gone before us, and certainly some whose sacrifice and service are keeping us safe and well.
If you have lost a friend, colleague, or family member to the coronavirus, please share their story with us using the email, social media handle.
