The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported that Lassa Fever has killed no fewer than 85 persons in Nigeria in the first six weeks of 2023. Confirming this on Monday in its latest epidemiological report, the NCDC said that the case fatality rate (CFR) was at 16.0 percent which was lower than the CFR for the same period in 2022 (16.5 percent).
