The Federal Government has begun paying the new ₦77,000 monthly allowance to members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), fulfilling a commitment made in September 2024. The increase, which aligns with the National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Act 2024, more than doubles the previous ₦33,000 stipend.
