The Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s MTN mobile line has been hacked by unknown fraudsters today.
This was made known to members of the public through a letter signed by Nnanyelugo Chidi Aroh, Commissioner for Information warning the general public to disregard any call or message emanating from the said mobile line.
The hoodlums he said had called unsuspecting members of the public including government officials.
He further stated that the security Agencies and the Telecom Service Providers have been duly notified and are working assiduously to apprehend the culprits.
“We most sincerely regret any embarrassment or inconvenience that these fraudsters may have caused members of the public.”
