There seems to be no end in the lingering crisis rocking the All Progressive Congress (APC) with party’s chieftains alleging that the only APC Senator in the state Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani failed to deliver.
An APC chieftain Bappare Muhammad in a statement on Sunday alleged that “Senator Binani, Senator central and Hon. Jafar Ribadu member Representing Yola South, Yola North & Girei have failed the good people of thier constituency.
” The duo have failed us by not executing even a single project for the benefit of the people.
“For the senator, all that she has done so far are nothing but clear case of political glory hacking from claiming the Mautech to conventional university bill, the FMC upgrading to teaching hospital which we know and she knows is not true.
“What has she done practically for the people that are benefiting. NON… go and see the laudable project being executed by Senator Binos of Adamawa south, look at the good works of Ho. Jafar member representing Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha check even what Hon. Namdas has done so far…
“Sincerely Adamawa Central senator and Hon. Jafar Ribadu has failed to make any tangible impact as such majority of our people are disappointed!,” Bappare said.
The party stalwart further that, ” For Hon. Jafar Ribadu certainly he has failed beyond redemption as such is a game over for him even in his party PDP.
” For Senator central who is a member of our party Apc, she has shown us her true colour of lacking appreciation and team playing.
“Check the people that she is today working with all are not from the zone because she has nobody (Stakeholders) from the zone, she has betrayed our political trust and the structure she rode on to win her election!
“All we hear from her group is she owns the party (APC) Adamawa state. Time shall tell, 89% of Adamawa central people have lost confidence in her, our party APC Stakeholders have lost confidence in her surely we shall prove our worth soon…
“She will hear from us too borrowing the words of Commander Aziz Nyako..,” Bappare vowed.
Reacting, Senator Binani described all the allegations as” baseless and unfounded.
Binani who spoke through her aide on constituency matter Mauludu Muhammed said, ” They were just engaged in hatchet job, probably by their sponsors whose aim was to put the revered senator into unnecessary dispute.
“Even toddlers know the impact and dividends of democracy accrued under her senatorship.
“Just in her short life span of one year as a senator representing Adamawa Central, our distinguished senator was able to see through the conversion of Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) to full-fledge Conventional University and also sow Federal Medical Centre(FMC) Yola to teaching Hospital.
Even these and many other constituency projects executed by our only female senator in the Northeastern region senator Binani deserve accolade and standing ovation but not megalomaniac attach by those responsible for defeat the party suffered in the last general election.
Muhammad, further reiterated that the senator will continue to remain focused and resolute, “the distinguished senator is not rattle, neither disturbed nor shaking with the noise been peddle by these political jamborees who are sponsored to cause confusion and acrimony in our great party APC.”
