In order to mend fences within the main political opposition party in Nigeria due to internal party wrangling, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) recently constituted national reconciliation chaired by former governor of Gombe State, Ibrahim Dankwambo with Rt. Hon Kwamoti Laori as secretary.
The committee which concludes the assignment has submitted its report to the national chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus at the national secretariat of the party Monday.
Receiving the report, Secondus thanked the committee for a job well done adding that the party is happy with the commitment of the committee towards building lasting peace.
He described the assignment as important as Nigeria marches towards 2023 general polls.
Present at the event were Sen. Walid Jibrin, Chairman BOT, Air Commodore Dan Suleiman (Rtd) Member BOT, and a host of NEC members.
Some major stakeholders of PDP from Yobe State present include Adamu Maina Waziri, Engr. Buba Galadima, Sen. Mohammed Hassan Dambu.
