The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, OYC, on Wednesday raised alarm over the whereabouts of the founder of the Adoration Ministry Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka.

The fiery catholic priest who recently has been on the news speaking against the Federal Government of Nigeria was last seen on Tuesday.

A statement issued by the President-General of OYC, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, confirmed that the embattled priest was last seen on Tuesday and all effort to trace him proves abortive.

“We have it on good authority that his aides have neither seen nor heard from him since Tuesday,

“He has not been answering his calls; this has now prompted us to issue this alarm as we would not take it lightly should anything happen to him.”

The group warns, “Let nothing happen to Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka. It will not be in anybody’s interest.

“We are giving the Federal Government 48hours to produce the priest else they should be ready to face the Igbo youths.

“They were dining and wining with him (Mbaka) but now that he told the truth, they are no longer comfortable with him.”

Recall that a couple of days ago, the fiery young priest had openly spoken against the recent insecurities in the nation. This affront was replied by the government as displeasure stemming from the government’s inability to honor Mbaka with the contract he sought.

During Adoration last week, Mbaka as if preempting today said, “Nigeria is a nation that if you say the truth you will be attacked; we will survive the attack of the crocodiles who want to eat the fishes in the pond; those attacking men of God are crocodiles and God is ready for them.

“You don’t attack the messenger but challenge the truth; is there insecurity or not? Are there good hospitals or not?

“God saved us from coronavirus but some of our leaders are the coronavirus we are suffering from,” Mbaka said.
