ILORIN — A pregnant woman has been killed and her husband was abducted by an unidentified group in Offa, Kwara State on Saturday.
The spokesperson for the state police command, Ajayi Okasanmi, confirmed the incident on Sunday.
“The command is working hard to get the victim rescued,” he said.
The deceased, identified as Hawawu was shot in the car while her husband, Lukman Ibrahim was driving.
As reported by Premium Times, the gunmen attacked the couple along Ojoku road near the divisional police headquarters in Offa.
The deceased’s corpse has been deposited in the morgue of the General Hospital, Offa.
