The PDP Governors Forum (PDF) has scheduled a meeting for all its members in Bauchi state. The meeting which is slated for today (Monday) will provide an avenue for PDP governors to ponder on the current situation of the country.
Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, will be the Chief Host, while the Forum Chairman, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, would preside over the meeting.
In a statement issued by the forum on Sunday, the Director-General of the PDF Cyril Maduabum said the governors would discuss a range of subjects pertaining to the affairs of the country and their respective states.
Some of the topics range from the health of Nigeria’s democracy to the Electoral Act Amendment and the constitution alteration bills which is still pending before the National Assembly.
Maduabum also noted that the forum will interrogate and analyze the proficiency of the FG in the fight against insecurity and suggest possible solutions.
He also noted that the PDF would continue to meet and share ideas on how best to handle the affairs of their respective states.
