AWKA — A good governance advocacy group, Kwechiri N’ Oganiru Anambra, has been set up to interrogate the manifestoes of Anambra governorship candidates. The event expected to feature candidates of major political parties is anticipated to be an opportunity for the defense of each candidate’s manifesto. Beyond this, it is equally expected to give candidates the chance to convince different voting blocs, interest groups, and the general Anambra public on the thrusts of their would-be administration.

According to a leader of the Kwechiri group –founded by concerned young Anambra professionals, Kwechiri’s “Operation Convince Me” is not a mere gubernatorial debate. It is intended to serve as a platform for interrogation and exchange of ideas, all of which serve as a boost to good governance.

The event comes up on 24th September 2021 by 5pm, and the venue of the event is Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre in Awka the Anambra State capital.

This conversation is in furtherance of Kwechiri’s resolve to show unflinching doggedness in the enthronement of good governance in Anambra State through the dedicated and tactical engagement of the government and the led.

Anambra 2021 gubernatorial election is expected to hold on November 6, the conversation is therefore a focused deliberation on the viability of the diverse development trajectories the various candidates have developed for Anambra state.
