YOLA — A renowned Islamic scholar, and the national Chairman Zuwiyyatu Dariqatit Tijjaniyat Foundation of Nigeria, Sheik Ibrahim Abubakar Daware has resigned from his position as part-time chairman of Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission.

In the resignation letter dated 11th October, 2021, captioned “Resignation as part-time Chairman, Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission”, the Islamic scholar thanked governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the honour done to him.

“I will like to inform the governor of Adamawa State Rt. Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri that I have decided to resign my position as part-time chairman of Adamawa State Pilgrims Welfare Commission with immediate effect.”

”Allow me to also take this opportunity to express my sincerest appreciation to you and your administration at all levels for giving me the opportunity to serve as part-time chairman of Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission.”

“Also my heartfelt regards to all the good people of Adamawa State for their numerous support and confidence towards this memorable journey,” he said.
