ABUJA — A suspect, Dayabu Mohammed, 27, who hails from Soba council of Kaduna State, who allegedly runs errands for bandits in the Northeast and Northcentral parts of the country was among 32 others arrested for various alleged offences.

Force spokesman Frank Mba said at a media briefing in Abuja on Tuesday said Mohammed was arrested on November 10 in Saminaka, Kaduna State, while conveying 250 rounds of live ammunition and five AK47 magazines to bandits in Niger State.

“The suspect works with some bandits and his task is to ferry weapons from suppliers to the bandits. He operates with a Volkswagen Golf 3 Saloon car, bought for him by one of the bandits,” Mba said.
