The German club, Borussia Dortmund on Friday evening took to Twitter to celebrate Nigerian music star, Davido and the club’s former Nigerian players, Sunday Oliseh and Victor Ikpeba.
The club celebrated Nigerian players who had played for the club in the past, Sunday Oliseh and Victor Ikpeba, between 2000 and 2004, and 1999 and 2002 respectively with the caption, “BVB loves Naija. Sunday Oliseh x Victor Ikpeba.”
In another tweet, the black and yellow club posted pictures of Erling Haaland holding Marco Reus, and another photo of Felix Passlack holding Axel Witsel celebrating a goal and choking the goalscorer, in a manner typical of joyful players, with the caption, “E Choke”, launched by Davido.
The football club also tweeted, “BVB fallllll on youuuu” as ‘OBO’ sang in one of his music titles, ‘Fall’.
Reacting, the excited ‘Assurance’ crooner quoted the club’s ‘E Choke’ tweet and wrote, “clear road”.
